Technical Manager (Full Time position)

Direct and monitor all activities for large, and major technology-based projects from initiation to delivery. He is responsible to develop technology concepts, requirements, design alternatives, project schedules, and costs for new systems initiatives. Plans and directs complex program schedules and budget, monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections.

Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost analyses, significant issue management and resolution, communication with business lines and technology management, often at senior management levels. He should be sound in handling a team of developers, designers, analysts, marketers, SEO speciliatists in building large complex portals and applications for clients in multiple segments. He/she will have a strong project management background, experience working with large web portals and refined leadership qualities.

Required skills:

* 5+ years of overall experience
* 2 years experience programming Microsoft Windows solutions using the .NET framework
* 3 years experience in Web 2.0 and social networking technologies
* Working knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/D)
* Experience working with Structured Query Language (SQL , T-SQL)
* Experience with a relational database management system (SQL , Oracle , MySql,DB2)
* Solid understanding of XML and XML schema (XSDs)
* Demonstrated proficiency at developing solutions to technical problems and troubleshooting software and system    difficulties
* Self-motivated with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the company as well as    with high-level local    government agencies
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task
* Extensive applied knowledge of C# .NET
* Demonstrated skill and experience in presentation and technical skills required for effective communication of Social     Networking use, architecture and benefits to all levels.
* Must Have effective communication (written, oral and visual) with all levels of organization and customer management,     technical and non-technical staff members, vendors, etc.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience is required
* Strong conceptual and creative skills
* Must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* A thorough knowledge of and passion about the latest trends on the Internet
* Understanding of Internet concepts including basic networks, domain names, and client tools
* Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) concepts and tools
* Working knowledge of current generation World Wide Web design tools including page layout and development tools        and techniques.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with network infrastructure and network/transport layer programming (TCP/IP , HTTP)
• Knowledge of web service contracts and web service interoperability standards (WSDL , XML Schema , WS-Policy , WS-*)
•  Fluency in UML
•  Experience with WCF
• Knowledge of C , C++ , Win32 API
• Experience administrating Windows Server 2003 / 2005
• Experience with application development in the UNIX or Linux environments
• Java web services
• Experience in workplace implementation of Social Networking tools
• Understanding of Internet concepts including basic networks, domain names, and client tools.

Education Background:

Qualification: BE, B. Tech, M. Tech, MCA, M.Sc (IT)

Technical - ASP.NET. ADO.NET, C#, AJAX, MS SQL 2005,PhP, MySQL
Desirable knowledge in SharePoint, Silver Light.
